ESMGFZ Product Repository - URL commands Login, user settings, help

Gridded loading datasets in one folder (and its subfolders) can be viewed as on single aggregated dataset where the individual files are joined along the time axis.

You can perfom the download of files and data subsets by URL Web API commands

download single dataset file

Please be aware that via URL command only nearest neighbour interpolation will be performed. We also provide the shell-scripts extractlatlon_bilinintp_remote and extractlatlon_bicubintp to interpolate to a certain latitude-longitude location. The _remote script downloads the time series around the station location and performs bilinear interpolation; for the other script you have to download the relevant datasets and run the script on your local machine.

The datafiles are organized in folders in order to shorten the server answer times to URL queries as reading always the whole set of netCDF files is very time consuming. Please use the smallest possible subset-folder for your query:
